Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) identified with significant disproportionality must set aside 15% of their IDEA funds to be used for Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) – but what does that really mean for your Business Office?

This interactive session will focus on YOUR questions about the fiscal implications of significant disproportionality. We’ll cover key questions such as:

  • What is the 15% set-aside – and how is it calculated?
  • Does it impact Maintenance of Effort?
  • What costs are allowable for CCEIS?
  • What is the Business Office’s role in supporting the Compliance and Improvement Monitoring (CIM) plan?
  • Are there specific reporting responsibilities?

This session is provided by the State Performance Plan Technical Assistance Project (SPP-TAP) with funding from the California Department of Education.

We’ll use the Fiscal FAQs and Allowable Costs documents as a jumping-off point. When you register, you’ll have the chance to submit your questions in advance so we can bring in the right experts to get you clear, accurate answers.
