Please join the State Performance Plan Technical Assistance Project (SPP-TAP) on March 17, 12:00-1:30 p.m. for a webinar focused on preventing and proactively addressing significant disproportionality.  SPP-TAP is the technical assistance provider for significant disproportionality and during this webinar we will provide you with:

  • A brief overview of disproportionality and significant disproportionality
  • Rationales for addressing disproportionality in a preventative or proactive manner
  • Suggestions for how LEAs can begin addressing disproportionality within their Compliance and Improvement Monitoring Plan including hearing from a Local Education Agency (LEA) who has done this successfully

During this webinar we will NOT be covering the California Department of Eduction’s requirements regarding disproportionality. For that information, please reach out directly to your LEA’s Focused Monitoring and Technical Assistance (FMTA) Consultant.
